What you get
- The name, pointed where you choose. It can show your website and carry your email.
- Control of its DNS records from your dashboard: tell the built-in assistant what to point where, and nothing is written until you apply it.
- A scoped API token for your own agent, to read and change ordinary records.
- You set mail records yourself, confirmed with your passkey or code. Agents cannot, because a bad change is a mail outage or a spoofing hole.
- Written notice, with the math, at least 60 days before any new rent.

Who can rent
You rent for your business or another commercial purpose. The lease is not for personal, family or household use. If you sign for a company, you confirm you can bind it.
How renting works
- Sign in with an email code, then add a passkey or an authenticator app.
- Verify your legal name, once: you show a government ID and take a selfie, and Stripe checks them. It takes a few minutes.
- Choose a term of 1, 6 or 12 months.
- Read and sign the lease.
- Pay the first month by card. The name is yours to point when the payment clears.
- Point the DNS yourself, or create a token for your agent. The first DNS change on a new lease is checked by a person before it goes live.
An agent can find a name, read the price and the lease, and run the DNS afterwards. It cannot verify, sign or pay: those steps are yours.

Billing, plainly
- The first charge lands at activation, when your payment succeeds. After that the same rent is charged to your card on the same day every month.
- The rent never changes during a term.
- The lease renews on its own for another term of the same length, until you cancel or we give written notice.
- To cancel, tell us in your dashboard at least 2 days before the term ends. Cancelling stops the next term. It is not a refund.
- There are no refunds after activation and no proration for part of a month.
- There are no setup fees and no exit fees. Any sales tax that applies is extra.

Renewal
At renewal the new monthly rent is the current rent times 1 plus half of the year over year growth in search volume for the name's keywords, measured from an independent third party keyword search volume dataset, with that growth counted between 0% and 100%. So rent can rise by at most 50% at a renewal and never falls because of the formula. The result is rounded to the nearest $5 and kept between the floor and the ceiling published for the name. Your own traffic, your own business and your own growth are never inputs.
We review the rent once every 12 months. A new rent from that review only ever starts at a renewal, with at least 60 days written notice. The floor and the ceiling for each term are in the table above.
Worked example on the 12 month term, where the rent is $150/month today: if search volume for the name's keywords grew 20% year over year, the new rent is $165/month. If it fell or stayed flat, the new rent is $150/month. At 100% growth or more it is $225/month.
